MUSIC DIRECTOR
Academy Folk Band Director, Instrumental
and Vocal Instructor
Writes music arrangements, directs Academy's folk
band and provides instrumental and vocal instruction.
Olivija Stokanovic
STAGE PRESENCE INSTRUCTOR
Miss Olivija has been a leading professional Belgrade
ballet dancer for theatre, movies and television gala productions,
a jazz dancer, choreographer and a ballet teacher. At the Academy,
Miss Olivija tutors our dancers in poise and stage presence, as
well as ballet dancing.
Neven Mikac
DANCE INSTRUCTOR
Neven, a member of Academy's Senior Ensemble, has
acquired notable skills from our master teacher, Bata Marcetic.
Not only is Neven a great role model for our younger students, he
also has a natural ability to teach others how to dance. Neven teaches
Academy's Intermediate Ensembles.
Zeljka Jakovic
DANCE INSTRUCTOR
Zeljka is an elementary school teacher, a music
teacher, dancer with our Recreational Ensemble and a musician with
the Academy's folk band. Zeljka teaches Academy's Children Ensembles.
Marijana Marcetic
DANCE INSTRUCTOR
Marijana is a member of Academy's Senior Ensemble.
Her enthusiasm for song and dance and charismatic teaching style
designates Marijana as an excellent candidate to instil that passion
into our younger students. Marijana teaches Academy's Intermediate
Ensembles.
Ivana Marcetic
DANCE INSTRUCTOR
Ivana is a member of Academy's Senior Ensemble.
She is a diligent student of authentic folk music. Her delivery
of songs is as meticulous as her dancing is genuine. Ivana's energy
is inspirational to all who work with her. Ivana teaches Academy's
Junior Ensembles.
Sandra Jelovac
ASSISTANT DANCE INSTRUCTOR
Sandra is a member of Academy's Senior Ensemble.
Her maturity level along with her remarkable ability in administrative
and leadership skills makes her an ideal teacher of her peers. Sandra
is an assistant dancing instructor to the Senior and Intermediate
Ensembles.
Bojana Knezevic
ASSISTANT DANCE INSTRUCTOR
Bojana is a member of Academy's Senior Ensemble.
She has notable aptitude to emulate all of master instructor's staging
to the finest detail. Bojana demonstrates that it is not only experience
that counts, but that she is perfect for the part. Bojana is an
assistant dancing instructor to the Senior and Intermediate Ensembles.
